We partner with an AirBnB that can easily host 14 guests within walking distance of our Venue. Several hotels are less than 10 minutes from the Venue. Some hotels offer a discounted shuttle service for guests coming to events at Dawn On The Chesapeake.

Absolutely. We recognize the importance of being able to choose your own preferred cuisine. You’re welcome to hire any licensed and insured caterer. We can also provide a list of trusted local caterers who are familiar with our venue.

Yes, alcohol is permitted. It must be served by a: Training for Intervention Procedures (TAM) or Techniques of Alcohol (TIP) certified and liability insured bartender or catering service. We’re happy to recommend local vendors who meet our insurance requirements.

We recommend reserving a tent for outdoor ceremonies and receptions as a weather backup. We can suggest local tent rental companies that fit your guest count and style.

You’ll have access to the venue the morning of your wedding to decorate, prepare, and take photos. Setup and arrival times are confirmed prior to your event for a seamless experience.

Yes, arrangements can be made for early access. There is generally at no additional charge for early access for Bridal Party, Hair and Makeup Professionals.

Yes — we provide convenient off-road parking near the entrance for your guests. We also have a smaller close in Parking area for Vendors or anyone who need assistance with mobility. There are Parking Attendants to help your guests at every wedding.

Yes-- Well-behaved pets are welcome for the outdoor ceremony only. Arrangements must be made for all animals to be safely removed from the property immediately after your ceremony ends.

All events must conclude and the premises cleared by 11:00 p.m. to comply with local noise ordinances. Amplified music must end by 10.00 p.m. to allow a smooth transition for guests and vendors to pack up.

Yes. All music and excessive noise must end by 10.00 p.m.

To reserve your date, a signed rental agreement and a non refundable reservation fee are required.
